If you had told me in 2021 that I’d be earning enough money from self-publishing to make a down payment on a rental property, I probably would have laughed.

That was before I started making 4-figures in royalties every month.

And way before I ever thought about teaching this system to others inside the Book Income $tream Machine.

Let me set the scene...

In late 2021-early 2022, I felt like I was being ripped in half.

Half of me wanted and needed to focus on my kids, marriage, and extended family. That half of me also desperately needed downtime because I was going through a rough patch in life.

My parents of 40 years, got divorced. I wanted to crawl up and hide forever.

The other half of me had to work.

That meant since I wasn't booking tons of weddings anymore, I wanted to contribute to our finances.

But something had to change.

I had options. Meeting and coaching 1:1 clients on Zoom, being in my inbox at all hours of the day, and generally having to show up even when I didn’t have the energy wasn't going to be my first pick anymore.

Needless to say, I was exhausted from trying to “balance” it all. And the pressure became too much.

But you know what happens with intense pressure, right?

It can go two ways — the object shatters, or the object becomes polished like a diamond.

I thought I would break. But I didn’t.

Instead, the pressure forced me to find a different way.

A way to make money online that served me. Make money while I went to bed early each night....

It had to be a way that would allow me to:

 Have more time freedom — AKA not dependent on trading my hours for dollars

 Bring in a steady, recurring income that could run in the background of my business — so I could pay the bills and still have a life

 Grow and scale through multiple revenue streams — so all of my eggs were never in one basket (Everyone needs this IMHO)

That’s when I decided to repurpose my most successful course into self-published books.

And while I was at, I published a couple notebooks too.

At first, the royalties trickled in…$18.77/month was only enough to buy a few items at the grocery.

Then things started to click.

I self-published more books.

Within 5 months, I had cracked the $1,000/month mark.

By the start of year 2, I reached over $11,000 in royalties in a month. 2022 royalties REALLY ADDED UP FOR ME.

I went from earning milk money to earning a down payment on rental property money. To being able to contribute more!

That’s freedom money.
